Use AXIS IP Utility or AXIS Device Manager to find the device and assign an IP address.

Steps

From: M3088-V User guide: AXIS M3088-V manual, pp. 6, 26-27

  1. Download and run AXIS IP Utility or AXIS Device Manager (free from axis.com/support)
  2. Connect the camera to the network and power it on
  3. The tool will list the device by model/serial; select it and assign a static or DHCP IP
  4. Open a browser, enter the new IP, create an admin account on first login

NoteIf the intended IP and your PC are on different subnets, contact the network administrator.
To check for IP conflictdisconnect camera, ping the IP from Command Prompt; "Reply from" means conflict, "Request timed out" means available.
Default after factory reset (no DHCP)169.254.0.0/16 (AXIS OS 12+) or 192.168.0.90/24 (earlier).
