What it is
Remote Programming Software (RPS) is Bosch's account management and control panel programming utility for Windows. Operators can program every panel parameter remotely or on site, store accounts, run remote control and diagnostics (status, history, bypass, arm and disarm, sensor reset), and update panel firmware on GV4 and newer panels. Bosch's intrusion business now publishes RPS under Keenfinity. Source

How to install
- Download the RPS v6.xx ZIP file from the Bosch (Keenfinity) RPS product page.
- Copy the ZIP to your desktop, right-click it and choose Extract All. This creates an RPS-Installation-Files folder.
- Sign in to Windows with an account that has Administrator rights.
- Open RPS-Installation-Files, right-click setup.exe and choose Run as Administrator.
- Pick Express install to use the bundled SQL Express defaults, or Advanced to use a SQL server on your network.
- If you change the install folder, do not use a folder with a space in its name (for example Program Files).
- Start RPS and log in with user name admin and password default (or 1111), then change the admin password from Lists > Operators.

How to connect to the panel
- On site with a B Series or B9512G/B8512G panel, connect the PC to the panel with the B99 USB direct connect cable.
- For remote connections, use Ethernet, cellular, the Bosch Cloud (Remote Connect) or PSTN.
- Run the Configuration Assistant to set up Remote Connect and Bosch Cellular Service, plus any web proxy or VPN.
- Create or open the panel account (Account Assistant for basic B Series installs, Panel View for complex ones), then connect and send or receive programming.

FAQ
Version 6.18. Its release notes add unattended batch firmware updates for B and G Series panels.
What is the default RPS login?User name admin, password default (or 1111). Change it right after the first login.
Does RPS run on 32-bit Windows?No. Bosch dropped RPS support for 32-bit operating systems.
Do I need the D5370-USB dongle?Not for B Series panels or the B465 communicator v2.00 and higher. Older panels need it.
Can RPS program over the internet without a static IP?Yes, through Remote Connect, Bosch's cloud service, set up with the Configuration Assistant.
