DLS 5 Download
What it is
DLS 5 is DSC's upload/download software for programming PowerSeries Neo and PowerSeries alarm panels from a PC, and for flashing panel firmware. DSC builds it on the Microsoft .NET framework with a lightweight SQLite database, and pairs it with WebSA System Administrator and Remote Diagnostics for PowerSeries Neo. Source

How to install
- Go to www.dsc.com and click Security Professional Login. If you have no login, use Register now for Extended Site Access; approval can take up to 3 business days.
- After logging in, click Download Software under Quick Links.
- Scroll to DLS 5 and click the current DLS 5 (NA) installation file.
- Run the downloaded installer and follow the wizard.
- To update an existing install, open DLS 5 and choose Help > Updates > Check for updates, then install the available updates.

How to connect to the panel
- Plug the PC-LINK header into the panel's PC-LINK connector.
- Connect the PC-LINK serial cable to the PC. On a PC without a serial port, use the USB to serial adapter from the PC-LINK USB kit; DSC recommends only that adapter for DLS 5.
- Open the panel account in DLS 5 and connect over the PC-LINK to upload, download or flash firmware.
