What it is
Wireshark is a free, open-source network protocol analyzer. It captures packets on a network interface and decodes them so you can see exactly what devices are sending, which makes it useful for tracking down IP conflicts, multicast floods, RTSP and ONVIF problems, DHCP issues and SIP or alarm-communicator traffic.
